The AISA elementary school serves approximately 200 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We believe that children need to be actively involved in learning by engaging in activities that help to further their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.

We offer a strong academic program rooted within a warm, nurturing learning environment.

The elementary school follows the Common Core State Standards in reading, writing, and math. We use the AERO standards for Social Studies and NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) for Science.

At AISA we embrace our diversity! Students come from all over the world and contribute to a culturally and intellectually rich environment.

At AISA we value inclusiveness. The elementary school addresses individual needs through differentiation in the classroom. Additional support is provided through our English as an Additional Language (EAL) program and through our Learning Support Services program. The elementary school strives to develop students’ skills, knowledge, and character to enable them to achieve their full potential.

Our classroom teachers and our teaching assistants have a wealth of experience from a range of diverse backgrounds and work closely together to ensure continuity and innovation.

Our school offers 1:1 technology, teaching assistant support in every classroom and we prioritize student health and wellness and have a dedicated elementary school counselor.
